James Dean was one of America’s iconic actors of the mid 20th-century; a remarkable feat, considering that he only made three movies. We chose him as an example partly because of his iconic status, but mostly because the fact that he made only three movies makes it easier to do simple cardinality computations on the set of movies that he made.
